I'm Yalın Pala.
I live in Ankara, Turkey.

I'm a software craftsperson and the founder of Mikoriza Network. I've been building things since before it was my job, and now it is.

Over the years I've worked on projects across different domains, from small tools to larger systems. Mikoriza Network is where I bring those experiences together. I have a deep interest in Free and Open Source Software and contribute actively to open-source projects. I've been a member of the FSF since 2015, the same year I founded Perl Mongers Ankara. I'm also a member of the Chaos Computer Club, Europe's largest hacker association.

I'm currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder.

I'm a big fan of role-playing games. I enjoy indie games and occasionally develop games of my own. I also like reading comics and maintain a modest collection.
